At Sycamore Springs Park we have several spaces available to reserve including a Wedding Chapel. While the Chapel does have a fee for use, the Shelter Houses are free to use. NEW Lodging options available! A reservation is not needed to use the Shelter Houses; however, you can make reservations for them online or by calling 812-338-3846.
Wedding Chapel
In 1979, the local Presbyterian Church was destroyed in a flood. Most of the windows were salvaged, restored and installed in this chapel. The windows were restored with donations from the family of Fred Roberson, Gary Roberson, Arden Roberson, and Bud and Ann Smith (Roberson). The bell outside was donated by Becky Hammond Stetter and also comes from the Presbyterian Church. Others have donated other items which will be listed later with the donors. Many have contributed funds to finish the chapel.

Free Park Entrance
Sycamore Springs Park is open 8:00 am through 8:30 pm EDT.
You may come anytime for free to check out the grounds, fish, or enjoy the playgrounds.
ALL events must be finished and guests departed by 8:30 pm EDT when our park closes.
Online Reservations
Many of our Shelter Houses can be reserved online through this website.
However, the Wedding Chapel, Chapel Shelter house, Bluffs Shelter Bandstand, Riddle House, Riverside Patio, and Jacobs Field may only be reserved by calling our office at 812-338-3846.
Check-in Time
When calling or reserving the facilities we ask that you specify your check-in time and how long you’ll need the shelter house.
If time permits, we may allow others to reserve on the same day. So please be mindful and respectful of the time you’ve initially selected.
Bluffs Shelter and Bandstand
This scenic shelter house is perfect for weddings, music groups, reunions, or other events. Bluffs surround two sides of the bandstand and the Little Blue River on the 3rd side.
